The Minister of Environmental Affairs has given notice of her intention to, in terms of section 24(2)(d), read with section 47A (1) (b), of the NEMA, identify activities that may be excluded from the requirement to obtain an environmental authorization, but which activities must comply with the Dangerous Goods Standard, 2016 which is also out for comment. Members of the public are invited to submit within 30 days (on or before 5 September 2016) of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, written representations or objections to this notice.
